FIRST SEEN 2026-08-21 · VERSION 20260821_rev01 · FIRST CAPTURED VERSION

What changed, in plain language

xHamster expanded one clause about its "create an account on another site" tool. Before, it only shared your info to sign you up on third-party platforms. Now it also covers ongoing linked-account features — including messaging — and says your private messages, usernames, and message details may be shown on those other sites and viewed there.

DATA SHARING

If you use xHamster's tool to create or link an account on another platform, the two accounts now stay connected for features like messaging. Messages you send or receive — plus the username attached to them and other message details — can be displayed on that other site for people there to read. On an adult site, private conversations showing up under your username somewhere else can be a serious privacy problem, and once something is displayed on another company's platform, xHamster no longer controls who sees it or how long it stays up.

the operation of linked account features across those platforms, including messaging functionality, with the result that personal messages sent or received through your account, together with the associated usernames and message details, may be displayed on the third-party platform(s) and viewed there

What you can do — Do not use xHamster's tool to create or link accounts on other platforms if you want your messages kept private. If you already linked an account, check the list of third parties at https://xhamster.desi/info/list-of-processors, unlink where you can, and avoid sending anything through a linked account that you would not want shown publicly under your username.

Message content is now openly treated as data that gets passed aroundMATERIAL
DATA COLLECTION

The old wording only mentioned sharing "personal information" to register you. The new wording specifically names the contents of your messages and the details attached to them. That is a much more sensitive category of information than a signup email, and the policy now says it can flow to outside companies.

What you can do — Treat any message sent through a linked account as potentially public. Keep sensitive conversations off the platform.

Changelog

  1. ± CHANGEDLinked accounts can now expose your private messages on other sites

The part of the policy about using xHamster's tool to create accounts on other platforms was widened. It used to cover only the sign-up step. It now also covers features that keep your accounts linked afterward, including messaging — and it warns that messages you send or receive, your username, and message details may appear on those third-party sites where other people can see them.
