Community Guidelines
NOTEDWhat changed, in plain language
The only change is a new notice at the top announcing that TikTok's Community Guidelines will be updated on September 24, 2026, with a link to the new version. No actual rules changed in this document.
Changelog
- + ADDEDHeads-up that new Community Guidelines are coming on September 24, 2026
TikTok added a banner near the top saying it will replace these Community Guidelines on September 24, 2026, and links to where you can read the new version. Nothing in the current rules — what's allowed, what's removed, how enforcement works — was changed in this update. The release date (August 14, 2025) and effective date (September 13, 2025) of the current guidelines stayed the same.
On September 24, 2026, we are updating our Community Guidelines so you can continue to create, discover, and share safely on TikTok.
