Terms and Conditions
NOTEDWhat changed, in plain language
Nothing in the actual terms changed. The only difference is a scrambled code inside the link for The Atlantic's Customer Care email address — that code is generated automatically by the site's spam-protection tool and changes on its own. The email address, phone number, cancellation rights, and every other term are the same as before.
This change appears to be cosmetic (formatting, typos, or contact details).
Changelog
- ± CHANGEDCustomer Care email link code changed (no real change)
The Atlantic hides its Customer Care email address behind a scrambled link so spam bots can't read it. That scrambled code was regenerated, so the link text looks different. The actual email address and the phone number (855) 940-0585 are unchanged, and so is your ability to cancel or opt out of auto-renewal at any time.
