What changed, in plain language

The source text for this comparison is corrupted — nearly all of the Russian wording in both versions has been replaced with unreadable substitution characters, so the actual policy language cannot be read or quoted. Only fragments in Latin letters and numbers survive (words like "cookie", "SDK", "IP-", "programmatic", "URL-", "Youtube", the address support@pikabu.ru, a partner-list link, a Google privacy link, statute numbers, and the clause numbering). From those fragments it is clear that this is Pikabu's privacy policy and that it was substantially rewritten and expanded, but no specific promise, permission, or restriction can be verified. A review of this document should not be published until it is fetched again with the correct text encoding.

This change appears to be cosmetic (formatting, typos, or contact details).

   Both the old and new versions of this privacy policy arrived with their text garbled. Every Russian word has been replaced by placeholder symbols, so there is no readable sentence to compare or quote. The document needs to be downloaded again correctly before anyone can say what actually changed.

2. ± CHANGEDThe policy was heavily rewritten and got longer

   Judging only by the structure — clause numbers, headings, and how much text was added or removed — the privacy policy was reorganized and expanded rather than lightly edited. Section 4 (purposes of processing) and Section 5 (what data is collected) were replaced wholesale, Section 6 was restructured, and new clauses 2.6-2.8, 6.4.1-6.4.4 and 7.2 were added. What any of this says cannot be read.

3. ± CHANGEDNew mention of cookies, SDKs and IP addresses in clause 1.7

   Clause 1.7 previously contained one short sentence in which the only readable word was "cookie". The replacement is a longer sentence that also names "SDK" and "IP-". This suggests the tracking technologies described were expanded beyond cookies, but the surrounding words — including what is collected and why — are unreadable, so nothing more can be stated.

4. + ADDEDNew clause 5.1.4 mentions advertising technology, including "programmatic"

   A new subsection was added under the list of data-collection purposes. The only readable pieces are "programmatic", "IP-", "cookie", and "URL-". "Programmatic" is an industry term for automated ad buying and selling. This points to a new or newly detailed advertising-data purpose, but the actual wording — what is collected, who receives it, and whether users can refuse — cannot be read.

5. + ADDEDNew clause 6.4 links to a list of partners

   A new clause points to https://pikabu.ru/information/partners-list and is followed by a six-item bullet list. The link is readable; the clause text and all six bullets are not. Whether this describes data being shared with those partners, and what kind of data, cannot be determined from this copy.

6. + ADDEDNew clause 7.2 gives an email address for privacy requests

   A new clause was added under the renamed Section 7 and contains the address support@pikabu.ru as a clickable link. The section heading itself was replaced. The purpose of the clause — and any conditions, required information, or deadlines — is unreadable.

7. ± CHANGEDClause 10.1 no longer names YouTube and Google

   The old clause 10.1 named "Youtube" and linked to Google's privacy policy. The replacement clause contains no company name and no external link; its readable fragments are "IP-", "cookies", and "URL". A named third party and a link to that party's privacy policy were removed, and the replacement text cannot be read to see what took their place.
