What changed, in plain language

The only change is that the word "(bepress)" was dropped from two sentences describing the Digital Commons and SelectedWorks accounts. Nothing about what data Elsevier collects, shares, keeps, or how you can control it has changed.

This change appears to be cosmetic (formatting, typos, or contact details).

Changelog

  1. ± CHANGED"(bepress)" dropped from the Digital Commons description

The sentence about creating a Digital Commons account no longer calls it a "(bepress)" account. It is just a naming tweak — the rest of the section still refers to bepress and works exactly the same way.

When you create a (bepress) Digital Commons account, you have the option of using your account to submit pre-existing and new work to over 500 repositories running Digital Commons software.

  2. ± CHANGED"(bepress)" dropped from the SelectedWorks description

Same wording tweak in the SelectedWorks section. Your profile still works the same way, and bepress is still named later in that section.

When you create a (bepress) SelectedWorks account, you have the option of creating a personal profile page that will publicly display your first and last name to help others find and connect with you.
