Privacy Policy
NOTEDWhat changed, in plain language
The only change is a new banner at the top of the page announcing that Dropbox's Privacy Policy will change on January 1, 2027, with a link to preview the new version. No wording in the current policy itself was changed — what Dropbox collects, who it shares with, how long it keeps your data, and your rights all stay the same for now.
Changelog
- + ADDEDHeads-up added about a new Privacy Policy coming January 1, 2027
Dropbox added a notice at the top of the page saying this policy will be replaced on January 1, 2027, and linking to the upcoming version so you can read it early. Nothing in the current policy was edited, so today's rules still apply. The new version isn't part of this document, so its effects can't be judged here.
Dropbox's Privacy Policy will be changing effective January 1, 2027. Click [here](https://www.dropbox.com/privacy2026) to review.
