Cookie and Data Collection Technology Notice

NOTED
DATED 2025-05-28 · VERSION 20260826_rev01 · COMPARED WITH 20260825_rev01

What changed, in plain language

The only change is a rewritten obfuscated email link. Acronis uses Cloudflare email protection, which scrambles the contact address so bots can't scrape it; that scramble was re-generated, so the code in the link looks different. The address and everything else in the notice are unchanged.

This change appears to be cosmetic (formatting, typos, or contact details).

Changelog

  1. ± CHANGEDContact email link code refreshed

The privacy-complaint contact link points to Acronis's email-protection service, which hides the real address behind a scrambled code. That code was regenerated, so the link text changed. The contact method itself works the same way as before.

6666Some web browsers (including Safari, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Chrome) incorporate a "Do Not Track" (**DNT**) or similar feature that signals to websites that a user does not want to have his or her online activity and behavior tracked. If a website that responds to a particular DNT signal receives the DNT signal, the browser can block that website from collecting certain personal information about the browser's user. Not all browsers offer a DNT option, and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many website operators, including Acronis, do not respond to DNT signals universally or if not required by law.
